The primary responsibility of the Electrical Supervisor is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of electrical systems equipment and infrastructure. This position requires a degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience or a Diploma in Engineering with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Electrical Maintenance within the Oil & Gas Industries including supervisory experience in shutdown maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise Electrical Maintenance: Oversee and manage electrical maintenance activities including preventive and corrective maintenance troubleshooting repairs and installations. Ensure compliance with industry standards safety regulations and maintenance schedules.
Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of electrical technicians and maintenance personnel. Assign work tasks provide guidance and ensure efficient utilization of resources. Conduct performance evaluations and provide training when necessary.
Shutdown Maintenance: Plan coordinate and supervise electrical maintenance activities during scheduled shutdowns. Ensure that shutdown schedules are met resources are allocated effectively and maintenance tasks are completed within the specified time frame.
Equipment Inspection: Conduct regular inspections of electrical equipment systems and infrastructure to identify any potential faults malfunctions or safety hazards. Coordinate with relevant departments to address issues and implement appropriate corrective measures.
Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the maintenance team regarding electrical systems equipment and procedures. Assist in troubleshooting complex electrical problems and recommend suitable solutions.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities including work orders maintenance logs inspection reports and equipment records. Generate reports on maintenance performance equipment status and recommendations for improvement.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards codes regulations and safety guidelines. Promote and enforce a culture of safety awareness among team members fostering a safe working environment.
Budget Management: Assist in developing and monitoring the maintenance budget for electrical activities. Optimize resource allocation control costs and identify opportunities for costsaving measures without compromising quality and safety.
Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in electrical maintenance processes procedures and systems. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency reliability and performance.
Qualifications :
Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience or
Diploma in Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industries for Electrical Maintenance with Supervisory level including shutdown maintenance. High Voltage Training Certificate mandatory
