Job Description
- Lead the initial procurement process for the in time procurement of the materials as per the Project Design requirements.
- Lead the construction and installation of fire and gas detection systems in compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers electrical engineers and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction progress and adherence to safety protocols.
- Review and interpret design documents drawings and specifications related to fire and gas systems.
- Identify and resolve construction issues and challenges in a timely manner.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain project documentation related to F&G systems.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety on site.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Fire Protection Engineering or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in construction engineering specifically related to fire and gas systems in highvoltage substations.
- Strong knowledge of fire and gas detection technologies and relevant industry codes (e.g. NFPA IEC).
