We are currently seeking a qualified HSE Engineer with ADNOC approval to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The HSE Engineer will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of health safety and environmental programs ensuring compliance with ADNOC regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development implementation and maintenance of HSE management systems in accordance with ADNOC requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards assess risks and ensure compliance with relevant HSE regulations and standards.
- Support project teams in conducting risk assessments preparing method statements and implementing appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
- Participate in incident investigations root cause analysis and the development of corrective and preventive action plans to address HSErelated incidents and near misses.
- Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSErelated matters including safe work practices emergency response procedures and environmental protection measures.
- Monitor and track HSE performance indicators compile statistical data and prepare reports for management review and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in the coordination of HSE training programs toolbox talks and awareness campaigns to promote a culture of safety among employees and contractors.
- Collaborate with regulatory authorities industry organizations and stakeholders to stay abreast of new regulations standards and best practices in HSE management.
- Support the HSE Manager in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HSE performance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 35 years of relevant experience in health safety and environmental management within the oil and gas industry.
- ADNOC HSE approval is mandatory.
- Knowledge of ADNOC regulations standards and requirements.
- Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and HSE management systems (e.g. ISO 45001 OHSAS 18001).
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HSE management software.
