We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join our Italian restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Italian cuisine excellent culinary skills and the ability to supervise and inspire a kitchen brigade. This role is pivotal in maintaining the quality consistency and authenticity of our dishes ensuring that every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience.
- Prepare and cook highquality Italian dishes including pasta risotto pizza and other traditional specialties.
- Ensure dishes are prepared according to recipes portion control and presentation standards.
- Lead and manage junior kitchen staff providing guidance and training as needed.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning seasonal specials and new dishes.
- Contribute creative ideas for enhancing the menu while maintaining its Italian authenticity.
- Monitor the quality of ingredients and ensure all dishes meet the restaurants high standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste texture and presentation.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory including ordering and stock rotation to minimize waste.
- Handle kitchen equipment responsibly and report any maintenance needs.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and other team members to ensure efficient service.
- Assist during peak times and cover for team members when needed.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or higher in an Italian restaurant.
- Indepth knowledge of Italian cuisine and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Culinary qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food preparation.
