Roles and responsibilities
- Assist the Site Architect in performing the contractual duties on site.
- Verify the quality of finishes and materials used in the project, ensuring that they meet the specified standards and project requirements, this involves examining the finishes, such as surface preparation, paint, or surface coatings, to check for proper application, smoothness, color consistency, and absence of defects.
- Ensure that the installations of finishes, joineries, doors, windows, hardscaping, facade, walls, ceilings, and tiles comply with the approved shop drawings and the relevant industry standards.
- Examine the installation of finishes, such as tiles, flooring, glazing, GRC and wall claddings, to confirm that they are correctly installed, aligned, and secured, and the inspector shall check their adhesion, grouting, jointing, and overall workmanship.
- Inspect the surface preparations and verify that they are smooth, free from debris, and adequately primed or sealed, and shall check materials compatibilities.
- Inspect materials and installations for fire resistance, acoustic performance, moisture protection.
- Is familiar with electronic documentation systems (ASite, Aconex,..etc) and be is able to manage the snag/desnag process for his discipline.
- Interface with the public, especially residents and business owners adjacent to the work to mitigate the construction impacts.
- Oversee and inspect all architectural work and ensure that installation activities comply with contractual obligations and quality control standards.
- Follow-up with the contractor and support in coordinating with the utility authority regarding connections whenever required.
- Ensures that the project quality control procedures are used for the construction supervision works and monitors it for improvement.
- Monitors and coordinates all contractors' activities for this discipline.
- Performs works inspection requests and material inspection requests on a daily basis.
- Support the Site Architect in reviewing submittals from project inception to close-out.
- Collaborates with construction management to eliminate any hazards associated with the work that may adversely affect the environment or the safety or health of employees.
- Reviews and interprets discipline design drawings and specifications to ensure current re vision level and correct technical execution of the work.
- Provides resolution for technical engineering problems within the assigned discipline(s); coordinates application of solutions to ensure progress on site.
- Monitors material procurement and deliveries to ensure timeliness in support of construction activities and schedule within the assigned discipline.
- Ensures that materials received meet specifications and established standards of quality.
- Organizes the accumulation of assigned discipline data for the final project turnover and report.
- Initiates and maintains records, back charge procedures, progress reports, etc., as required.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

- Inspecting the construction of temporary and permanent works to ensure compliance with the Contract Documents and approved shop drawings and submittals.
- Preparing daily logs and reports. Maintain records of inspections made, tests performed, work executed, etc. Performing all work in accordance with the Contract Administration Procedures Manual.
- Observing site safety and quality practices and the progress of the work. Reporting any concerns.
- Photo/Video recording site progress and observations.
- Perform all other duties given by the direct manager.
Desired candidate profile

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Degree in Architecture.
- Min of 5 years postgraduate experience on large scale projects.
- Revit & Other software packages is an advantage.
- Regional experience.
- ADM & DM registration is preferred.
- Must be aware of local applicable building codes requirements (ADIBC, ADCD (FLS),..etc).
- A professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity, discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.
