Project Executive

Roles and responsibilities

As a Project Executive OpenBlue Delivery, you will be executing a project that involves managing multiple stakeholders. This position requires effective communication skills, strong project management experience with fluency in understanding the software development & Cloud based deployments.

You will be based in Dubai and is responsible for Schedule, Scope, Resources & Cost Management. The nature of Project would be to deliver Software Applications in a construction building that focuses mainly on Energy Net Positive, Sustainability, Safety, Security, Employee wellness and Visitor’s Experience.

The project executive closely collaborates with Main Contractor, Consultant & End customer and internally with our Product & Engineering Team who are remotely located (mostly in USA). This position also coordinates with On-Site Team to set right priorities and make appropriate decisions for meeting required Program plans/milestones and publish the weekly progress for visibility and transparency.

This position expected to be commercially astute and technically proficient, self-motivated enjoying the challenge of driving the end goals.

How You Will Do It

• Project Plan: Developing a project plan, overseeing the execution, tracking the progress of the project and the software releases.
• Managing budgets and resources: Responsible for ensuring that the project stays on budget and that the project team has the resources they need to complete the project successfully.
• Communicating with stakeholders: Responsible for communicating with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This includes keeping stakeholders informed of the project's progress and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Managing risks: Identifying and managing risks that could impact the project. This includes developing risk mitigation plans and implementing them as needed.
• Solving problems: Solving problems that arise during the project lifecycle. This includes working with the project team to identify and implement solutions to problems.
• Making decisions: Making decisions that impact the project. This includes making decisions about the project scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources, including budget, personnel, and tools, to projects based on strategic priorities and project needs.

Desired candidate profile

• Executive Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to executive leadership, highlighting project progress, risks, and achievements.
• Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor project managers, guiding them in project execution, stakeholder management, and problem-solving.
• Relationship Management: Regularly update key stakeholders, clients, and partners on the developments of the project to ensure everyone stays on the same page.
  

Required

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ Years of experience in Project Management with Medium / Major Projects.
• Software Delivery Experience in a Construction project would be ideal.
• Extensive interaction / presentation with clients at a senior level.
• Knowledge in Gen AI and Cloud computing platforms (Azure / Open Source).
• Strong client facing presentation skills.
• PMP / SAFe certifications or equivalent.
• Experience in any Smart Building Project is an advantage.
• Fluency in English. Arabic speaking is an advantage.
