Job Description
Job Title: Testing and Commissioning Engineer
Location: UAE
Experience Required: 23 Years
Salary Range: 50000 to 90000
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems ensuring compliance with design specifications and performance requirements.
- Conduct tests and diagnostics on:
- Switchgears
- Transformers
- Protection relays
- DC systems
- Associated LV systems
- Identify and resolve issues through problemsolving techniques and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and detailed reports for completed tests.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including project managers and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols at all times.
- Conduct precommissioning checks and ensure readiness for system handover.
- Train site personnel on system operation and maintenance as required.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BE) or equivalent.
- 23 years of handson experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical components system integration and troubleshooting.

- Technical Expertise: Profound knowledge of electrical systems diagnostics tools and industry standards.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to identify and address technical issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for preparing reports and liaising with teams.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy and quality in testing processes.
- Team Collaboration: Capability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models, Piping Isometrics, GA drawings, and Piping Layouts. In-depth knowledge of Piping BOM, MTO, and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Education
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
