Job Description
- Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS) Civil and Building work
- Experience Required: 10 years
- Location: Abu Dhabi
- Type: Fulltime
- Salary:AED per month
- Joining required: Immediately
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for civil and building work projects
- Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects
- Evaluate and negotiate prices with contractors and suppliers
- Monitor project progress and costs and make adjustments as needed to ensure budget compliance
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management and clients
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess progress and quality of work
- Manage and track all project costs including materials labor and equipment
- Prepare and review contract documents and change orders
- Collaborate with project managers engineers and other team members to ensure project success
- Keep uptodate with industry trends and regulations and make recommendations for costsaving measures
- Resolve any issues or disputes related to project costs
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of civil and building work processes and procedures
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Office
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detailoriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes in Abu Dhabi is preferred.
