Renewables Sales Director C&I and Utility

About the Role:
I am looking for a Director to lead a brand new business unit focused on securing orders for utility and C&I scale solar and BESS projects across the MEA.
The role will require a deep understanding of the regional solar and BESS markets strong relationships with key decision makers across the industry and a proven track record of securing tenders from EPCs Developers and Utility companies across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify develop and secure utilityscale and commercial tenders/projects.
- Project Acquisition: Lead the entire project acquisition process from initial prospecting to contract negotiation and financial closure.
- Team Management: Build and lead a highperforming team of project managers engineers and financial analysts.
- Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients including developers EPC contractors and utility companies.
- Market Analysis: Conduct indepth market analysis to identify emerging opportunities and trends.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in securing and executing tenders for largescale solar or BESS projects in the Middle East.
- Deep understanding of the regional solar energy market including regulatory frameworks financing mechanisms and key players.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Flexible to travel regularly across the MEA region.
