Job Description

As an Assistant Finance & Business Support Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and business functions of the hotel. You will work closely with the Head of Finance & Business Support to ensure the efficient operation of the finance department contributing to the hotels financial success and operational excellence.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements identifying trends and variances.
  • Support the monitoring of financial performance and budget adherence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial records.
  • Collaborate in the development and execution of the hotels financial strategy.
  • Participate in budgeting forecasting and financial planning efforts.
  • Provide financial data and insights to assist in decisionmaking.
  • Work with various departments to assess and improve business processes.
  • Assist in conducting financial feasibility studies and analysis for projects and investments.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to cash flow management ensuring funds are available for operational needs.
  • Support treasury and cash management practices.
  • Assist in identifying financial risks and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations company policies and industry standards.
  • Assist in coordinating internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with the finance team providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the department.
  • Participate in colleague training and development initiatives.
  • Support costcontrol measures while maintaining quality and service standards.
  • Assist in procurement processes including vendor negotiations and supplier relationship management.
  • Stay informed about financial technology trends and assist in system improvements.
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of financial systems and tools.
  • Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly manner prioritizing guests and colleagues health and safety as well as environmental conservation.
  • Adhere to hotel environmental health and safety procedures and policies.
