- Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
- Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
- Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
- Uses local/global standards to support technical excellence.
- Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
- Deliver Civil Structural discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Apply recognized offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to Civil Structural design engineering.
- Checking of drawings / models and maintaining quality of deliverables
- Ability to prepare and details UG drawings
Job Specific Knowledge
- Personnel shall have the specified minimum project experience in mainly Oil & Gas/refinery or petrochemicals and shall know the applicable Engineering codes and standards.
- Preparation of drawings for the concrete and steel structures using software like ACAD and MicroStation.
- Preparation of reinforcement detail drawings for the concrete structures
- Preparation of site grading drawings.
- Interaction with other departments for clarifications on information relevant to the drawing to be prepared.
- Maintaining records of drawings and other documents as assigned by the Discipline ManagerleadSenior Engineer.
- Estimation of concrete and structural steel quantities of respective drawings.
- 3-D modelling of structures using E3D/ S3D/Civil 3D.
- Model review software like Navisworks and participation in 3D model review
- Clash checking
- Extraction of drawings from 3-D model.
- Competent in the use of 2D & 3D software and developing skills in design software.
- Preparation of Civil/Structural deliverables including drawings, sketches, diagrams, lists, 3D models, MTOs, schedules, registers, etc. in compliance with the Basis of Design.
