Job Description
Stantec is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team and support on a Construction Site and Supervision project in Abu Dhabi.
Key Tasks and Duties:
Monitoring the structural works for conformance with the provisions of the contract documents and the procedures manual.
Reviewing approving and processing all structural technical submittals.
Answering RFIs related to Structure and Architecture.
Assist in supervising the work of all structural activities and operations maintaining progress records and reporting.
Reviewing contractors structural change order proposals and preparing recommendations to Structural PM.
Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
Reviewing contractors claims related to structural works and preparing recommendations for claims.
Reviewing the contractors project record documents relevant to their discipline.
Assisting with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the startup testing commissioning and handover of the structural works.
Signing off on completed structural works with completed documentation and maintaining the required record.
Perform all other duties given by Senior Structural Engineer
