Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage the data analytics team, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of reports and insights.
- Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Define team goals, performance metrics, and growth strategies.
Data Strategy & Architecture:
- Develop and execute a data strategy that aligns with the company’s broader business goals.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data warehouses, pipelines, and reporting systems.
- Ensure data governance, security, and integrity across all analytics operations.
Advanced Analytics:
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques such as predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis to generate actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Drive decision-making in key areas such as marketing, product development, customer retention, and financial planning.
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
- Lead the development of interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into business performance.
- Standardize reporting processes and ensure consistent, reliable metrics across the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to ensure alignment between data outputs and business objectives.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Partner with department leaders to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions.
- Analyze key metrics, trends, and market data to help inform strategic initiatives.
- Deliver clear, data-backed presentations and reports to senior management, including forecasts, performance analyses, and data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing a data analytics team, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Strong background in data strategy, data architecture, and analytics infrastructure design.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline architecture.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking with a focus on problem-solving and process improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in FinTech or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to financial data privacy and security (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, PSD2).
- Prior experience with financial modeling, risk analytics, credit scoring, or customer segmentation in a financial context.
- Experience working with payment systems, digital banking platforms, or blockchain technologies.
- Knowledge of fraud detection, anti-money laundering (AML) analytics, and compliance reporting.
- Experience working in an agile environment.
