ID CAD DRAFTSMAN

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

We are looking for a talented Interior Design CAD Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in producing highquality CAD drawings and renderings for a variety of interior design projects collaborating closely with designers and project managers to ensure designs are accurately represented and executed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create detailed CAD drawings layouts and specifications for interior design projects including floor plans elevations and 3D models.
• Collaborate with interior designers to understand design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Prepare and modify drawings based on feedback from design teams and clients.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to project specifications building codes and industry standards.
• Assist in the selection of materials finishes and furnishings providing documentation and samples as needed.
• Maintain organized digital files and documentation for all projects ensuring version control and accessibility.
• Stay updated on industry trends materials and design software advancements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on design feasibility and technical issues.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates or Bachelors degree in Interior Design Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience as a CAD Draftsman specifically within the interior design sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD Revit SketchUp) and graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
• Strong understanding of interior design principles materials and construction methods.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
