QA Analyst Responsibilities

• Review and understand software requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts for manual and automated testing.
• Identify, track, and document software bugs, errors, and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and ensure product quality.
• Participate in software releases by performing regression testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Ensure that applications meet functional, performance, and security requirements.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of data analysis techniques (e.g., statistical analysis, data cleaning).
• Proficiency in Excel; basic knowledge of SQL or any other query language is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of QA processes, including test case creation and bug tracking.
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or any bug-tracking system is a plus.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
