You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailPerforms advanced network administration activities, by working with the external service provider, on; high availability, automated installation, configuration & monitoring, space management, capacity planning, database backup and recovery, and disaster recovery setup
Research and evaluate new networking technologies and solutions. Recommend and implement innovative technologies that enhance network capabilities and efficiency.
Provides critical inputs to the Enterprise Network services plans and roadmap for the organisation, and executes the plans by working with external service provider(s)
Establishes standards for network, local area, wide area and Internet infrastructure and ensures their performance across all system design, development and maintenance activities
Maintains and updates technical documents and procedures
Develops service delivery best-practices for the organisation’s Enterprise Network services
Be able to oversee and troubleshoot complex network issues and provide solutions to prevent recurrence.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve underlying network problems.
Establishes standards and ensures exceptional delivery and high availability of technology voice and data infrastructure services, including but not limited to WAN, LAN, IP Telephony, cloud and monitoring services
Functional Roles and Responsibilities:
Proactively manages the Provider to ensure that the service delivery meets the expected quality, budget and timelines. Proactively aligns the resources.
Monitors, supports and maintains the organisation’s Enterprise Network infrastructure
Reviews performance of the respective Infrastructure service areas and makes recommendations for improvements while supporting audits as and when required
Drives or participates in relevant outage reviews and ensure follow-ups for all actions as it relates to Network
Serves as a consultant on data and database-related technological advancements and determines standards for server/database configuration
Supports the problem, defect, and incident management processes for seamless operations of Infrastructure platforms
Experience is managing remote, hybrid and direct team for best performance, coverage and uptime of the network service to business.
