Job Description
- Audit experience and financial analysis skills are a MUST for this role.
- Conduct real-time market surveillance to detect and analyze potential market abuse, including manipulation, insider trading, and unauthorized disclosure of material information.
- Monitor news and media items that could impact securities traded on the exchange, ensuring timely identification of relevant developments.
- Ensure accurate and timely daily order book surveillance using market surveillance applications.
- Initiate and conduct fact-finding analyses and investigations on market abuse, reporting findings to relevant departments and authorities.
- Collaborate with market supervision team members and liaise with listed companies on unusual trading activities, taking appropriate action.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with issuers, trading and clearing members, and market authorities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all stakeholders within the company's market supervision framework.
- Prepare and distribute reports to stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Identify and facilitate process improvements in a structured way.
- Address operational, technical, compliance, reputation, or legal risks related to market supervision.
- Contribute to the continuous learning and development of market supervision team members and stakeholders.
