Job Description

  • Conduct legal research, provide updates on applicable laws and regulations, and gather relevant legal information.
  • Assist in drafting, proofreading, and amending contracts, letters, agreements, and other legal documents.
  • Establish and maintain contracting processes and templates.
  • Assist in preparing and executing board resolutions and shareholder's resolutions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with external legal counsel as needed.
  • Maintain electronic and physical filing systems, ensuring accurate record keeping.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal business teams seeking legal support.
  • Update and maintain databases and tracking systems.

The Junior Legal and Compliance Officer will possess Bachelor’s degree in Law, Certification or Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, with some experience in a similar support role in a legal or compliance function. You will have strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail, ability to comprehend and interpret legal documents, be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organisational skills and proficiency in time management. You will have the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
