SAFETY MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Safety Manager to oversee safety operations on our construction projects specifically focusing on aviation fuel tank farms. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience working with toptier main contractors in the Middle East and must hold an ADNOC safety certification. The role requires a deep understanding of safety protocols related to highrisk environments and a proven ability to manage safety compliance on largescale projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the development and implementation of safety management systems across all project sites with a focus on aviation fuel tank farm construction ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and standards.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments tailored to aviation fuel tank farm projects. Identify potential hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies to prevent accidents and ensure worker safety.
• Ensure all safety operations and practices are fully compliant with ADNOC safety standards and guidelines. Maintain uptodate knowledge of ADNOC requirements and ensure teamwide adherence.
• Design and deliver specialized safety training programs focused on the unique risks associated with aviation fuel tank farm construction. Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained and aware of safety protocols.
• Manage and lead investigations into any safety incidents or nearmisses. Analyze root causes and develop action plans to prevent recurrence ensuring lessons learned are communicated across the team.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections at all project sites focusing on highrisk areas such as aviation fuel tank farms. Address any safety noncompliance issues immediately and enforce corrective actions.
• Maintain meticulous safety records including incident reports risk assessments and safety audits. Prepare and submit detailed safety performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans specific to aviation fuel tank farm projects. Train all site personnel in emergency procedures and ensure readiness for any potential emergencies.
• Collaborate with clients regulatory authorities and other stakeholders to ensure all safety expectations are met and exceeded. Provide expert advice on safety issues during project planning and .
• Stay informed on the latest developments in safety management particularly in the context of aviation fuel tank farm construction. Introduce innovative safety practices and technologies to improve overall safety performance.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates MUST be immediately available
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Safety Manager with significant experience working on largescale projects with toptier main contractors in the Middle East.
• ADNOC Safety Certification is required.
• Proven experience in safety management for the construction of aviation fuel tank farms is highly preferred.
• Bachelors degree in Safety Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Indepth knowledge of Middle Eastern safety regulations and international safety standards.
• Proficient in risk assessment and incident investigation.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
