Audio Visual Engineer

• Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for audio-visual

systems, including equipment, labor, and other associated costs. Utilize industry-

standard tools and software to develop estimates.

• Project Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and scope of work to

identify and understand client requirements. Assess and quantify materials, labor,

and other resources needed for project completion.

• Supplier and Vendor Coordination: Source and evaluate pricing from suppliers

and subcontractors. Negotiate terms and prices to ensure the best value for the

company and its clients.

• Bid Preparation: Develop and submit comprehensive bid proposals that align

with client specifications and project requirements. Ensure all estimates and

proposals are accurate, competitive, and submitted on time.

• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, project managers, and

engineering staff to gather information and ensure accurate and complete

estimates. Provide support and insights during the proposal and negotiation

phases.

• Cost Analysis: Analyze historical data and project performance to identify trends

and improve estimating accuracy. Provide feedback and recommendations for

process improvements.

• Documentation: Maintain thorough records of estimates, proposals, and related

documents. Ensure all documentation is organized and easily accessible for future

reference.

• Client Communication: Address client inquiries regarding estimates and

proposals. Provide clarification and additional information as needed to support

the sales and project management teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an estimator in the AV or related industry, with a strong

understanding of audio-visual systems and technologies.

• Proficiency in estimation software and tools, such as [Insert specific software if
