Job Description
IV Therapy Administration:
Perform venipuncture to insert and maintain intravenous lines.
Administer IV medications, fluids, and blood products as prescribed.
Monitor patients for signs of adverse reactions during and after IV therapy.
Adjust IV flow rates according to the patient’s condition and physician orders.
Patient Assessment and Monitoring:
Educate patients and their families about the IV therapy process, including potential side effects and care of the IV site.
