Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- At least 25 years of relevant experience in Drilling & Completions, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Head of Department (D&C).
Key Responsibilities:1. Leadership & Management:
- Lead, manage, and report on all drilling activities in alignment with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) guidelines, company policies, and government regulations.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Drilling & Completions team, fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Well Delivery Management:
- Oversee the development and implementation of the well delivery management system.
- Ensure well delivery processes align with technical standards, contract requirements, and budget constraints.
- Operational Planning:
- Plan, direct, and coordinate the preparation of operational and engineering programs for drilling, completions, well testing, frac/stimulation, and workover operations.
- Optimize operational plans to minimize Non-Productive Time (NPT) and improve cost-effectiveness.
- Departmental Oversight:
- Manage and coordinate all activities within the Drilling & Completions department.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Performance Improvement:
- Drive the development and implementation of performance improvement initiatives, leveraging appropriate technologies and optimizing resource management.
- Ensure continuous improvement in drilling and completions processes through innovation and best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Joint Venture Partners, Drilling Contractors, Asset Managers, G&G, Petroleum/Reservoir Engineering, Logistics, Contracts, Procurement, Finance, and Human Resources to meet departmental goals.
- Serve as the primary interface between the Drilling & Completions department and other key stakeholders.
