Initial Fuel Loading including, the handling of the neutron source, the calibration of the neutron flux monitoring, inspection and interlock tests of the fuel handling equipment, FME, installation of underwater lightings into the reactor core, transfer of the dummy fuel assembly to the RCB and repositioning of the temporary fuel load channel.
Reactor Pressure Vessel (IHA) Integrated Head Assembly Disassembly & Re-assembly including vessel internals such as Upper Guide Structure (UGS) & Core Support Barrel (CSB).
Removal and re-Installation of components such as but not limited to pressure boundary, push and pull cables, 54 Reactor Vessel-Stud bolts and plugs, stud hole inspection & plug installation.
Core Loading & Unloading
Management of Fuel Handling Systems and Equipment, including inspection, testing and maintenance of third-party certificates for the lifting and rigging equipment/accessories.
Management and maintenance of FHA overhead crane and RCB Polar crane.
Management of special tools and materials.
Prepare the required documentation for the required work package including Work Order, Job Hazard Analysis, Work Method Statement, Final Report, etc.
Development and improvement based on OE of all fuel handling equipment related procedures
Support and oversee the inspection and repair of fuel handling equipment
Perform the Foreign object search and retrieval (FOSAR) for the Fuel Handling Area and Reactor Refueling Pool.
Contribute to plans development and schedules optimization of reacot vessel disassembly and reassembly activities.
Support the availability of all infrastructure requirements (power, air, cooling, lighting, water filters, shielding, etc) to ensure that when the activities are ready to work, work can be performed.
Maintain overall refuel floor and spent fuel building cleanliness via approved Foreign Materials Exclusion (FME) programs to ensure successful FME prevention and facilitate Containment inspection closure.
Coordinate between all containment working departments, vendor organizations and the Outage Control Center (OCC) as necessary to maintain schedule performance.
Report to Fuel Handling management team potential areas of schedule or performance risk in relation to Reactor Vessel and Fuel movement works to the Head of Containment and OCC Management so that mitigation strategies can be identified proactively.
