Interventional Radiologist

- Provide an expert opinion, investigate and manage patients who attend KCH London UAE with known or suspected disorders requiring cardiology expertise.
- Diagnose and treat patients according to established standards of best practice in cardiology.
- Should have extensive experience of general Cardiology, simple cardiac device implantation and diagnostic cardiac catheterization.
- Review the results of all investigations in a timely fashion and modify treatment as required.
- Comply with the established KCH London UAE practices regarding outpatient consultations, day care, inpatient and discharge protocols, and follow up.
- Comply with the requirements of the regulatory UAE medical health authorities with respect to all professional practices.
- Perform necessary interventional procedures and ensure approval has been obtained from the relevant healthcare insurance company prior to performing such procedures.
- Accurately document all relevant patient information in a clear and timely fashion in accordance with KCH London UAE health record keeping policy.
- Communicate medical information to patients and the patients’ families.
- Liaise with other medical and surgical specialities and professional support services for additional input as required.
- Accept appropriate referrals from other speciality Medical Centres, walk-in patients and patients referred from other hospitals.
- Work effectively and efficiently within the team structure of the KCH London UAE treatment centre by maintaining a good working relationship with other members of staff, promoting collaboration and adopting a team-based approach to patient care.
- Implement, support and follow all clinic initiatives, policies and procedures.
- Practice only within the privileges granted by KCH London UAE and UAE medical health authorities.
