Saab Ltd Abu Dhabi is now looking for people who want to join our Massive Data Fusion team.

Your role

We are looking for someone who is experienced with configuring and maintaining Kubernetes clusters. Your responsibility at Saab Ltd will be to configure and maintain the hardware and software of our development and production cluster.

In this role you will be working extensively with:

• Linux
• Containers
• Kubernetes
• Helm
• Ceph
• Vault
• Databases (structured and unstructured)
• Network security
• HPC

Your profile

We acknowledge that no one knows everything but one can learn a lot. We pay great attention to your interest in your own development and enjoy learning about new technologies.

Required skills:

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or System Administrator.
• Experience configuring and maintaining a Kubernetes cluster.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English verbal and written.
• Openminded and fast learner.

Desired skills:

• Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Ansible SaltStack etc.
• Knowledge of containers and microservicebased architectures.
• Experience configuring and maintaining structured and unstructured databases like Postgres and MongoDB.
• Ability to implement and maintain DevOps Security (DevSecOps) protocols.
• Network security and optimization experience.
• Experience implementing CI/CD and testing pipelines like Gitlab Jenkins Tekton etc.

• Data science/AI knowledge or interest.
• Any programming skills like Python or Julia.

This position requires that you undergo a security screening in accordance with the Saab internal processes.
