- FIFO from Darwin or Cairns
- Commencing November 2024
About The Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to join the Rio Tinto Team at their Gove site. This role will work a 4 week on, 6 week off roster FIFO from Darwin or Cairns.
Key Responsibilities
- Read & gain understanding of tasks to be executed
- Work with other site departments
- Print & create work packs to hand to contracting work force
- Liaise with contracting supervisors to go through works allocated to their teams
- Attend contractor pre starts & provide key messages from supervisor pre-start meeting
- Supervise all works in allocated area onsite
- Manage interactions within area & escalate any issues to Shutdown supervisor
- Conduct in field safety verifications & complete safety audits of work
