Datacenter Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Physical Data Center Management:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of data centers, ensuring 24/7 availability and performance.
• Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of data center equipment.
• Ensure proper physical security measures are in place and adhered to.

Backup Solutions and Storage Technologies:

• Design and implement robust backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Manage storage technologies, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management.
• Evaluate and implement new storage solutions to support business needs.

Network and Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the network infrastructure within data centers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement best practices for network security, monitoring, and management.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure readiness.

Collaboration and Support:

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff and other IT teams.
• Collaborate with development and operational teams to integrate data center solutions into business processes.
• Act as a point of contact for data center-related issues and provide expert-level support as needed.
