Job Description
- Lead production optimization solutions for existing producing wells and future development areas.
- Develop innovative and effective plunger lift and rod lift designs tailored to unconventional reservoir characteristics. Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize artificial lift systems for various well conditions.
- Oversee the implementation and day-to-day operation of plunger lift and rod lift systems. Monitor system performance, analyze data, and make real-time adjustments to ensure optimal production rates.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to artificial lift systems, utilizing in-depth knowledge and experience. Provide rapid response to emergencies that impact lift operations.
- Analyze production data, well performance trends, and equipment performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and increased efficiency. Implement data-driven solutions to enhance lift system performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including reservoir engineers, production engineers, and field technicians, to align lift system strategies with reservoir and production goals.
- Mentor and train junior team members on artificial lift best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and unconventional field challenges.
- Conduct daily production monitoring and well surveillance.
- Possess a deep understanding of well loading issues, well deliquification practices, and production best practices.
