This innovative R&D Engineer to support our team in developing manufacturing and prototyping solutions for new products and ideas. This role requires out-of-the-box thinking to create novel products and additions that meet our team's evolving needs. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between conceptual design and practical implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative medical solutions to life. As part of this role, you will address diverse manufacturing and prototyping challenges for incoming products and concepts, developing technical expertise in these processes. You'll work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and various teams to drive project success, contributing to long-term growth as a staff engineer. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new medical devices
• Create and refine prototypes using various materials and techniques
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturability of new concepts
• Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve product performance
• Stay current with emerging technologies and manufacturing methods
  

Looking For

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, materials science or manufacturing engineering.
• 6-8 years of experience as an engineer working with concept through manufacturing.
• Experience with solidworks or creo
• Experience with prototyping through injection molding
• Medical device experience
• GD&T experience working with different metals
