Job Description

  • Coordinates the process to assess Medical Staff initial competency through Focused Professional Practice Evaluation (FPPE).
  • Reviews and analyses FPPE and OPPE reports to identify and refer potential practice issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Works closely with the Credentialing coordinator to identify all Medical Staff who are requesting new privileges.
  • Coordinates the process to assess Medical Staff ongoing competency through Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluation (OPPE).
  • Prepares and analyzes OPPE reports, performs initial clinical assessment of all OPPE for Medical Staff Leadership.
  • Reports information related to the OPPE/FPPE on a timely basis to the asset leadership.
  • Assures effective communication by distributing agendas prior to, and minutes after, each Peer Review Committee and other committee meetings assigned, as required.
  • Refers medical staff minutes, with appropriate action identified, to the Peer Review, and Credentialing and Privileging Committee meetings.
  • Assures clinical appraisal activity components of medical staff are completed as defined in the policies and procedures

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related domain and/ or other related field.
  • Minimum two (2) years’ of job-related experience.
  • Knowledge of statistics and visualization tools.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of statistics and visualization tools.
  • Ablity to accurately apply data toclinical issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and processes at the same time.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
