Fleet Coordinator

A healthcare facility a few miles north of Crescent City, CA is looking for a Cook Assistant to join their team!

Cook Assistant Pay: $14 - $17/hourly

Cook Assistant Duties:

• Helps the head Cook prepare up to 30 servings of food to healthcare residents
  
• Executes and maintains a sanitary kitchen space
  
• Cook Assistant will perform basic math
  
• Starts off part-time (20 hours/weekly) and eventually transitions to full-time
  
• Opportunity to be promoted into a Cook position
  
• 2 shifts available: 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  

Cook Assistant Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or school setting preferred, but restaurant experience is also accepted
  
• Ability to learn food textures and cooking techniques
  
• General Food Handlers care certification is required prior to start ($10 course online comprising 10 questions)
