STRUCTURAL BIM MODELER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The purpose of the job of a Structural BIM Modeler is to enhance the efficiency accuracy and collaboration in the design and construction processes of structural engineering projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage detailed 3D structural BIM models using Revit.
• Ensure models comply with project standards and BIM execution plans.
• Integrate structural models with architectural MEP and other discipline models.
• Resolve design clashes and inconsistencies.
• Generate accurate construction documents drawings and schedules from BIM models.
• Maintain detailed and uptodate documentation.
• Perform quality checks on models to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Implement best practices for BIM modeling and project execution.
• Work closely with architects engineers and other stakeholders.
• Participate in coordination meetings to ensure seamless integration of structural elements.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering or a related field.
• 57 years of experience as a Structural BIM Modeler in design consulting companies in the GCC.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit software for BIM modeling.
• Strong knowledge of Navisworks for clash detection and coordination.
• Excellent knowledge of structural engineering principles and construction processes.
• Must be locally available in the UAE
• Can join immediately
