Job Description
- Lead the procurement process, develop detailed Tender documents for engaging various contractors and specialist subcontractors by clearly defining project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Analysis/benchmarking of main contract and subcontractor tenders, Provisional sum expenditure etc.
- Expertise in managing tender addendum, PTC etc.; and nomination of specialist packages. •Monitoring and documenting cost changes in construction commodities (price indices, inflation etc.).
- Proficient and meticulous vendor management skills; having large network of vendor know-how in UAE
- Monitor estimated budgets against projections and actual costs. Provide mitigation for deviations.
- Maintaining and updating the cost database (unit rates, functional rates etc) and the associated dashboards (Contractors, subcontractors, subconsultants specialist works etc.)
Develop contact list of contractors and suppliers, for the purposes of pricing enquiries to obtain current market rates as and when required
