Your day-to-day work will include:
- Providing graphic design support on visual communication products, briefings, technical documentation, and advertisement products utilizing commercial software with graphics, charts, and tables for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).
- Providing graphic support on retirement and change of charters ceremonies.
- Formatting and producing computer-generated forms, tables, and graphs.
- Optimizing the quality and usability of the documentation/presentations using graphics and other formatting/style enhancements.
- Verifying the accuracy of technical documentation to ensure that it is complete, meets editorial and government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, content format, and style format.
- Providing high-volume print production services to include the production of briefs, binders, booklets, business cards, brochures, badges, large format posters, etc.
- Providing photography and videography support for promotions, ceremonies, and other agency-related events.
At a minimum you should have:
- A high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience, an associate degree with at least 3 years of experience, or a BA/BS degree with at least 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Experience with graphics creation and print production.
- Experience with DSLR photography and videography.
- Exceptional typography skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- The capability to be self-directed, efficient, and dependable.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
You will be highly desirable if you have:
- Experience supporting DoD programs.
- All employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and/or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.
