MECHANICAL BIM MODELER

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize advanced BIM software (e.g. Autodesk Revit MEP Navisworks) to create accurate 3D models of mechanical systems based on project requirements and design specifications.
• Collaborate closely with architects engineers and other stakeholders to coordinate mechanical systems with overall building designs and ensure constructability.
• Conduct clash detection and resolution using BIM tools to identify and resolve conflicts between mechanical electrical plumbing and structural systems.
• Generate detailed drawings schedules and specifications related to mechanical systems for construction documentation.
• Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project lifecycle from initial design phases through to construction and commissioning.
• Stay updated with industry standards best practices and local regulations applicable to mechanical systems in the UAE.

Key Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience and previous experience in the UAE construction industry.
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit MEP Navisworks and other relevant tools.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings specifications and design standards.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
• Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in BIM modeling and documentation.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes regulations and standards.
