Job Description
Black & Grey HR is hiring for a prominent landscaping company in the UAE. Our client is looking to hire an Irrigation Engineer who will be responsible to ensure that the Irrigation Department has the proper resources and manpower to provide timely services for all the projects.
Identify the need for additional irrigation personnel and inform the Head of Irrigation of these requirements.
Monitor trends in irrigation requests and recommend improvements.
Supervise and assess the performance of the irrigation team across all sites.
Provide support and constructive feedback to the irrigation team.
In collaboration with site Supervisors/PM evaluate the irrigation team during the January performance appraisal session.
Oversee irrigation schedules and make adjustments as needed.
Work with Cost Control to identify and address avoidable expenses.
Develop a strategic plan to reduce consumables and materials for turnkey or longterm projects.
Recommend bulk purchase options for routine consumables whenever possible.
Collaborate with HR to identify skill gaps within the irrigation team and design a training plan to address these challenges.
Adhere to and implement Department procedures as well as the companys Quality HSEM and ISM procedures where applicable.
Frequently interact with other department managers and personnel at various levels.
Maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in agriculture.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the relevant field.
Competence with contracts and contractual requirements.
