What you'll do

- You will be responsible for assisting in overseeing of the Uniform, Linen and Valet Operations to ensure our guests and colleagues receive nothing but the best experience.
- You are responsible for your assigned tasks in the Valet Department to ensure the impeccable Dorchester standards are met in all areas.
- You will oversee the daily shift operations of the department to ensure all areas are covered and processes are followed.
- You will work with the external laundry provider to ensure the timely pickup and delivery of guest laundry, uniforms, rooms linen, spa, pool, gym and Food & Beverage linen.
- You will complete inspections of returned items to ensure they are cleaned correctly, no stains, damage and holds people accountable for corrective action.
- You will collect and deliver guest laundry as per Lana standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
- You will also participate in the management of the department’s controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals. Understands the impact of department’s operations on the hotels profitability.
- You will conduct inventories and are responsible to maintain all records for par levels, discards and losses.
- You will prepare the monthly laundry reports and compare actual costs to budget/forecast.

- Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. You have great communication skills with a strong guest service ethic.
- English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
- You will have a least 1 year's experience in a similar position in a luxury 5 star brand, with some pre-opening experience. Middle East experience would be advantageous.
- You will have a relevant high school certificate and bring wealth of past experience working for luxury hotels.
