Senior Accountant

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Ajman United Arab Emirates

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to take the lead in managing the financial aspects of our manufacturing and construction projects and the overall financial health of our organization. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records preparing financial statements managing budgeting and forecasting processes and cash flow management and ensuring compliance with industryspecific regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements including balance sheets income statements and cash

flow statements.

Ensure accurate and timely monthly quarterly and annual financial reporting.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

Collaborate with project managers and cost controller to develop and monitor project budgets.

Provide financial analysis and forecasting to support decisionmaking.

3. Project Accounting:

Oversee projectspecific accounting tracking costs revenues and profit margins.

Work with project teams to ensure accurate job costing.

4. General Ledger Management:

Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Bank reconciliation

Banking facilities experience with knowledge in import and export LCs LGs bill discounting

5. Compliance and Audit:

Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and accounting standards.

Assist with external audits and provide necessary documentation.

Full knowledge in VAT and corporate taxes.

6. Financial Analysis:

Conduct financial analysis to identify costsaving opportunities and areas for improvement.

Provide recommendations to management based on financial data.

7. Team Leadership:

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.

Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance (Masters or CPA preferred).

Min 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with a focus in the construction and

manufacturing industry.

Proficiency in accounting software (ERP) and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills.

Ability to work independently meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Knowledge of constructionspecific accounting and project management software is an advantage
