Job Description

Middle East & East Africa Category Manager will join the Southern Europe Middle East and Africa (SEMA) region Supplies Market Category Team. The team is responsible for Supplies 4Ps and profit and loss Management of the wide and complex geography of SEMA (overall 79 countries). Our wide market will bring great opportunities for the new category manager joining the team.We are searching for a Supplies Category Manager who will be responsible for the Middle East & East Africa cluster. The Supplies Category Manager is responsible for product line management and contribution to defining business plans and development initiatives. The role collaborates with different connecting functions for seamless execution and monitors KPIs to identify improvement areas. The role demonstrates a broad understanding of product categories gathers customer feedback and builds relationships with partners.While the roles key responsibilities have a clear country focus for Middle East & East Africa it will be required to participate in market projects bring best cluster insights and knowledge consistently across SEMA.Route to market focus: Commercial Channel End User and Retail ChannelConnecting functions: Marketing Channel Sales Print Hardware End User Sales Legal Distribution Sales OperationsSupplies Category Manager Key responsibilities:
  • 4Ps Management. Drive Supplies product life cycle in Middle East (New Product Introduction/ End of Life). Lead Product route to market strategy and align communication needs with marketing.
  • Profit and loss Management: Forecasting planning (quarter annual and long term) delivering financial & operational metrics. Contra management and approver at partner level.
  • Lead key initiatives to drive Market share in cluster.
  • Frontline Supplies Champion Share Supplies value proposition internally to all connecting functions and externally to channel partners and Extended Sales Force.
  • Lead transformation projects in Middle East.
Education and Experience Required:
  • Graduate Degree in Sales Marketing Business Administration or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 47 years of work experience preferably in category management Profit and Loss management business analytics or / any related field or an advanced degree with 35 years of work experience.
  • Consumer and/or Commercial Partner management knowledge.
  • English language fluency and Arabic language preferred
