Translator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Translator for a temporary 5month position with the possibility of renewal. The ideal candidate will have a strong military background which is essential for understanding and translating specialized military terminology and documents. This position is based in UAE abudhabi

Requirements

• Translate a wide range of documents reports and communications from Source Language to Target Language and vice versa.
  
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of translations maintaining the original meaning and context.
  
• Review and edit translations produced by other team members for quality and accuracy.
  
• Work closely with various departments to understand their translation needs and provide timely and efficient translation services.
  
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security of all translated materials.
  
• Use translation software and tools to manage translation projects and track progress.
  
• Assist in the development and maintenance of a database of militaryspecific terms and phrases.
  
• Military Experience: Exmilitary personnel with proven experience in military operations and terminology.
  

Knowledge of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors and auxiliaries including associated international codes such as API and ISO Comprehensive understanding of HE and other regulatory compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable. Professional Certifications Certified Training in RCM Modules preferred. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Certified Reliability Engineer according to ASQ Vibration Certification - At least Category II (Category III preferred) according to ISO 18436-2. Lube Analysis Certification - At least Level II Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) (Category III preferred).
