Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive essments of patients' medical history, physical impairments, and functional limitations
- Order and interpret relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Diagnose and treat physical impairments, disabilities, and conditions that require rehabilitation
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and goals
- Prescribe and manage medications, therapies, and interventions to support patients' recovery and rehabilitation
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated and coordinated care
- Provide consultations and second opinions to other healthcare professionals
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of physical and rehabilitation medicine
Requirements
Consultant or Specialist Physical and Rehabilitation Requirements:
- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Consultant or Specialist in Physical and Rehabilitation
- Residency training and board certification or eligibility in Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating physical impairments, disabilities, and conditions requiring rehabilitation
- Expertise in physical and rehabilitation medicine principles, practices, and treatment modalities
- Strong knowledge of relevant diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Exceptional clinical judgment and decision-making ss
- Excellent communication and interpersonal ss to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks
