Manage accounting functions of the Bank in accordance with relevant accounting standards, establishing effective internal control systems and policies.
Prepare and manage periodic reports required by regulatory bodies including balance sheet management.
Handle asset and liability management, including liquidity risk, market risk, and interest rate risk management.
Support business teams with liquidity and transaction management, analyze margins, variances, and costs.
Develop annual budget for the Bank and perform regular performance assessment and reporting
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
Professional accounting qualification such as CA/CPA/ACCA is preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in finance or accounting within the banking industry; ideally in a Category 1 Bank in DFSA or ADGM
Previous or current authorisation from the DFSA is advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
