SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design development and implementation of electrical systems for oil and gas projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of these systems ensuring they meet industry standards project specifications and client requirements. The engineer will also provide technical support lead a team of engineers and collaborate with other departments to achieve project goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop detailed design documents for electrical systems including singleline diagrams wiring schematics and layout drawings.
• Specify and select appropriate electrical equipment such as transformers switchgear and motor control centers based on project requirements.
• Design and implement power distribution systems grounding systems and protection schemes.
• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from conception through commissioning.
• Prepare project schedules budgets and resource plans.
• Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the installation commissioning and startup phases of projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems and equipment.
• Conduct root cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with industry standards safety regulations and client specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections of systems to ensure ongoing compliance and performance.
