Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of procurement processes policy and systems
• Procurement Engineers do extensive industry research meet with Business Development and compares their Services and Pricing against the benchmarking database.
• Provides correspondence support for operations team in order to provide optimum input for quotes and realization of potential for savings in any project.
• Negotiate with suppliers on leadtime cost and quality so as to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Make estimations based on the updated.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word PowerPoint Outlook and Excel)
• Strong quantitative analytical skills and strategize for better solutions
• Ability to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Ability to work well with management and staff at all levels
• Goaloriented organized team player
• Adequate knowledge of current news in the market including prices
• Driving license is an added advantage
