Requirements

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have indepth knowledge of labor laws visa processing DED (Department of Economic Development) procedures trade license renewals and other governmentrelated tasks within the UAE. The candidate should have 35 years of experience in a similar role in the UAE demonstrating a solid understanding of local regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Labor Law Compliance:

    • Ensure the companys compliance with UAE labor laws and regulations.
    • Handle all activities related to employee relations and government regulations.
  2. Visa Processing:

    • Manage the process of obtaining new visas renewing existing visas and canceling visas for employees.
    • Coordinate with various governmental departments to ensure timely processing.
  3. DED and Trade License:

    • Handle the renewal amendment and cancellation of trade licenses.
    • Manage interactions with the Department of Economic Development for all companyrelated matters.
  4. Government Relations:

    • Maintain strong relationships with various government departments including the Ministry of Labor Immigration and other relevant authorities.
    • Ensure all company documents and licenses are uptodate and compliant with government regulations.
  5. Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:

    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees including medical tests Emirates ID applications and other formalities.
    • Handle the exit process for departing employees including visa cancellations and endofservice benefits.
  6. Document Management:

    • Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and company documents.
    • Ensure proper documentation and timely submission of applications and renewals.
  7. Advisory Role:

    • Provide advice to management on compliancerelated matters and updates on new regulations.
    • Assist in developing and implementing company policies in line with UAE laws.
  8. Coordination and Support:

    • Coordinate with HR and administration for various employeerelated processes.
    • Support the administrative team in handling any governmentrelated documentation and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience: 35 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of UAE labor laws visa processes DED procedures and trade license management.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Proficient in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
    • High level of integrity and professionalism.
