Job Title: Back End Developer
Requirements: Experience: Minimum 3 years of backend development experience with a portfolio demonstrating scalable financial applications.
Programming Languages: Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

Frameworks and Libraries: Extensive experience with Node.js and Express.

Databases: Proficient in SQL (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g. MongoDB) databases with Knex.js experience preferred.

Cloud Services: Familiarity with Firebase and other cloud services platforms.

API Development: Expertise in designing and developing RESTful APIs.

Security: Knowledge of security practices such as OAuth JWT and encryption techniques particularly in financial contexts.

Version Control: Experience with version control systems preferably Git and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.

Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Adaptability: Flexible and quick to adapt to new technologies and evolving project requirements.

Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.

Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain the backend of financial applications for performance reliability and security.

Manage database schemas and models for efficient data storage and retrieval.

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external use ensuring security scalability and performance.

Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data. Collaborate closely with frontend developers designers and product managers for seamless integration.

Monitor application performance identify bottlenecks and apply optimizations.

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for backend architectures codebases and APIs.

Stay updated with new technology trends and best practices in backend development especially in the fintech sector.
