Job Description

Assisting senior project engineers in the planning execution and completion of engineering projects within budget and schedule constraints.

  • Contributing to the development of project plans schedules and budgets.
  • Supporting project teams in identifying project requirements objectives and deliverables.
  • Providing technical assistance in the design construction and commissioning of oil and gas facilities.
  • Assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings specifications and calculations.
  • Conducting field inspections and participating in engineering surveys as required.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation including meeting minutes correspondence and project logs.
  • Assisting in the preparation of progress reports technical memos and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Tracking project expenses and monitoring resource allocation to ensure adherence to project budgets.
  • Participating in quality control activities to ensure that project deliverables meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Conducting inspections and quality checks at various stages of the project lifecycle.
  • Assisting in the resolution of nonconformities and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Adhering to all health safety and environmental regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the project team.
  • Participating in safety meetings toolbox talks and hazard assessments.
  • Reporting any safety incidents or near misses and contributing to incident investigations as required.

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (preferably in Mechanical Chemical or related engineering field).
  • 13 years of relevant experience preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related engineering field.
  • Strong technical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software and computeraided design (CAD) tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
