Job Description
- The Senior Civil Engineer shall have responsibilities as following tasks by providing cost effective timely and efficient support while ensuring the safety and in accordance with Company s policies and procedures.
- To prepare bidding documents evaluate bids carry out clarifications conduct meetings review civil engineering / architectural designs and engineering drawings supervise civil
- construction works carry out checks of construction work before acceptance and other related activities in civil engineering works (but not limited to) of future and ongoing projects.
- To assess existing facilities remaining lifetime through the confirmation of existing system operational risks
Requirements
- Excellent understanding of civil engineering principles (Mandatory)
- Experience in civil construction
- Basic understanding of whole system of gas turbine generator packages (electrical & rotating) and compressor
- Understanding of any discipline engineering incl. process piping and instruments.
Knowledge of rotating equipment such as turbines, compressors and auxiliaries including associated international codes such as API and ISO Comprehensive understanding of HE and other regulatory compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferable. Professional Certifications Certified Training in RCM Modules preferred. Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Certified Reliability Engineer according to ASQ Vibration Certification - At least Category II (Category III preferred) according to ISO 18436-2. Lube Analysis Certification - At least Level II Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) (Category III preferred).
