Paediatrician

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular check-ups to assess the growth and development of children
• Carry out medical procedures and treatments for various illnesses and injuries
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, such as infections, injuries, and developmental delays
• Prescribe medications and provide follow-up care as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create treatment plans and provide multidisciplinary care
• Educate and counsel parents and caregivers on child health and development
• Monitor and document patient progress and keep accurate medical records
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in paediatric medicine and research
• Provide support and guidance to junior staff members, including medical students and residents
  

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited medical school
• Board certification in Paediatrics
• Current state medical license
• Previous experience in a paediatric setting is preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of paediatric medical practices, procedures, and protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine love for children
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to make critical decisions
