As Group Director, Growth You Will
- Deliver a high-quality pitch experience
- Drive increased retention, advocacy and growth for existing clients in partnership with client and specialty business teams
- Drive increased market understanding of our capabilities and credentials
- Create internal pride and stewardship of our differentiating products/solutions/offering
- Established and grow relationships across GroupM and WPP
- Effectively navigate and influence in a matrixed leadership environment
- Lead, motivate and inspire the growth team , fostering an environment of collaboration and team work
- Report on full pipeline performance, and identify opportunities for improvement
YOUR IMPACT:
- Increase incoming opportunities for our agencies in Canada
- Capitalize on revenue opportunities through holistic growth planning across the client portfolio

- Ability to have a material impact on the Canada business by driving growth from new business and existing accounts.
- High frequency of executive interactions with some of the largest, most important current and potential clients and brands .
- High level of interaction with executive leaders as well as high exposure to every level within the organization
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 10 years of work experience, with 2+ years in a growth leadership role, ideally in a media agency
- University degree
- Thorough understanding of the Canadian media industry and players
- Strong strategic skills: Sophisticated understanding of the media investment, ad tech and agency ecosystem
- Excellent written and presentational skills with a high attention to detail
- Advanced understanding and capability of Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook,
- Familiarity with financial software for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support growth planning.
- Competence in Project management tools to oversee and coordinate growth initiatives effectively
- Experience in business development with sizeable revenue goals
- Proven communication and client management skills
